What affects picture quality most
Picture problems usually come down to the connection rather than the hardware, so check these before you replace anything.
Measured speed, on the device
Aim for 10 Mbps per HD stream and 25 Mbps per 4K stream, multiplied by how many screens play at once.

Wired Ethernet removes most evening stutter. Fire TV Sticks and Chromecasts need a small USB Ethernet adapter.
Fresh software and a restart
Update the player app and the device's system software, and restart sticks every few days to free memory.
