Tips from our support team
- Use a Fire TV Stick 4K or 4K Max for 4K channels; older HD sticks top out at 1080p.
- Turn off Settings → Preferences → Data Monitoring and Featured Content autoplay to free memory for the player.
- Plug the stick into the HDMI extender from the box so it doesn't overheat behind the TV.
- Clear the player's cache every few weeks from Settings → Applications.

Questions about Amazon Fire TV and Firestick
We recommend the Fire TV Stick 4K Max. It has the fastest processor and Wi-Fi of the stick range and handles 4K without struggling. The regular Fire TV Stick 4K costs less and is fine for most people. HD-only sticks work too, but the picture stops at 1080p.
TiviMate suits people who mostly watch live TV and want a guide like cable. IPTV Smarters Pro is simpler to set up and puts movies and series up front. They take the same login, so there's no harm in trying both.
