Setup steps for Android phone / tablet
Step 1: Install IPTV Smarters Pro
Search Google Play for 'IPTV Smarters Pro'. If it isn't listed in your country, the developer offers the Android app on its own website.
Step 2: Pick the Xtream Codes option
Open the app, accept the terms and tap 'Login with Xtream Codes API'.
Step 3: Paste your details
Long-press each field to paste from your email, then tap Add User.
- Playlist or profile name: any label you'll recognise, such as IPTV Trends
- Username and Password: copy them character for character, since capitals matter
- Server URL: paste the whole address, starting with http:// and ending with the port number
Your welcome email (sent the minute your trial or plan starts) holds four things: Server URL, Username, Password and an M3U link. Not in your inbox? Look in spam or promotions, or ask support to send it again.
Step 4: Watch, or send it to the big screen
Tap Live TV for channels or Movies / Series for on-demand titles. Tap the cast icon during playback to send the stream to a Chromecast or Google TV device on the same Wi-Fi.
Fixes for common Android phone / tablet problems
Some carriers squeeze video traffic. Try Wi-Fi, or in the app open Settings → Player Selection and choose a different player (the VLC option is often more tolerant of slow networks).
Turn on picture-in-picture: Android Settings → Apps → IPTV Smarters Pro → Picture-in-picture → Allow. Samsung battery saving can also close the app; set its battery use to Unrestricted.
It's usually a typing slip: a missing http://, a dropped port number, or a capital letter entered in lowercase. Copy each field straight from your welcome email. If your trial or plan has ended, the same error appears until you renew.
