TiviMate Setup: Add an Xtream Playlist and Load the EPG
TiviMate is built for remote controls rather than touchscreens, and its grid guide is the closest thing to a cable box you'll find. It runs only on Android-based TV devices (Android TV, Google TV, Nvidia Shield and Fire OS Fire TVs), not on phones, Apple or Samsung/LG TVs.

What you need
- Android TV, Google TV, Nvidia Shield or Fire TV device
- TiviMate app
- IPTV Trends login
- Internet of about 10 Mbps per HD stream, or 25 Mbps per 4K stream
Setup steps for TiviMate
Step 1: Install TiviMate
On Android TV and Google TV, search Google Play for 'TiviMate IPTV Player'. On a Fire TV, sideload it with the Downloader app using the code below.

Short codes are run by a third party and occasionally get re-pointed. If a code stops working, message our support team and we'll reply with the current one.
Step 2: Add a playlist
On first launch press Add playlist, then choose Xtream Codes from the list of playlist types.
Step 3: Type your server and account
Enter the server address first, then your username and password, and press Next.
- Playlist or profile name: any label you'll recognise, such as IPTV Trends
- Username and Password: copy them character for character, since capitals matter
- Server URL: paste the whole address, starting with http:// and ending with the port number
Your welcome email (sent the minute your trial or plan starts) holds four things: Server URL, Username, Password and an M3U link. Not in your inbox? Look in spam or promotions, or ask support to send it again.
Step 4: Name it and finish
TiviMate shows a summary of channels, movies and series found. Name the playlist and press Done; the guide grid fills in within a minute or two.
Step 5: Decide on TiviMate Premium
The free version plays everything. Premium (sold by the TiviMate developer through the TiviMate Companion app on a phone) adds favorites management, catch-up, recording, multiple playlists and multi-view, and is separate from your IPTV Trends plan.
Fixes for common TiviMate problems
Open Settings → EPG and press Update EPG, then wait a couple of minutes. If one channel's guide is wrong, long-press it in the grid and choose a different EPG source for it.
In the channel list, long-press a group name and choose Hide group or Manage groups. Custom channel ordering and favorites lists need Premium.
Power the device and router off for 30 seconds, then measure your speed on the device itself: plan on 10 Mbps per HD stream and 25 Mbps per 4K stream. A wired connection beats Wi-Fi, and if your player has a hardware decoder option, turn it on.
