Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible

This policy describes how IPTV Trends ("we", "us") handles personal data when you browse iptvtrends.us.com, order through WhatsApp or email, take a free trial, subscribe or talk to support. IPTV Trends is the controller of that data.

2. Data we collect

We only collect what the Service needs:

• Account data: name, email address, country and the details you give us when you order.
• Billing data: plan, order dates, invoices and payment status. Card data is processed by our payment providers and we never keep full card numbers.
• Service data: your login, active streams and, for MAG boxes and some smart TV apps, the device MAC address you give us.
• Technical data: IP address, device and app type, and connection logs required to deliver streams, enforce screen limits and protect the Service.
• Conversations: messages, screenshots and phone numbers you share with us through email, live chat or WhatsApp.
• Website usage: limited information about how our pages are used, as described in the Cookie Policy.
• Tool inputs: answers you type into our browser tools (such as the plan finder or savings calculator) are processed in your browser and are not sent to us. The plan finder keeps your answers in the page address so you can share the result; if you reload or share that link, the address reaches our web server like any other page request.

3. Why we use it

Your data is used to:

• set up your account and send your login;
• run, support and troubleshoot the Service;
• take payments, issue invoices and process refunds;
• reply to your questions and support requests;
• apply our Terms and screen limits and stop fraud or abuse;
• send essential service notices, such as expiry reminders or policy changes;
• send promotions, only where you've agreed or the law allows, with an opt-out in every message.

We don't sell personal data and we don't use it for cross-site targeted advertising.

4. Legal grounds

Where laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on performing our contract with you, our legitimate interest in a secure, abuse-free Service, compliance with legal duties such as tax record-keeping, and your consent for optional marketing and non-essential cookies, which you can withdraw at any time.

5. Who receives it

Only providers that help us run the Service, under obligations to protect your data: hosting and streaming infrastructure, our billing software and payment processors, email delivery, our live chat provider (Crisp) and WhatsApp (Meta) when you contact us there.

We may also disclose data when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or if our business is sold or restructured.

6. Transfers abroad

Some providers process data outside your country. Where the law requires it, we put safeguards such as standard contractual clauses in place.

7. Retention

Account data is kept while your account is open and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you return or need help. Billing records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules demand. Connection logs are short-lived and then removed. Data we no longer need is deleted or anonymized.

8. Security

We protect data with encrypted connections, restricted access and other technical and organizational safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your passwords and login details to yourself.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may ask us to:

• send you a copy of the data we hold about you;
• fix data that is inaccurate;
• erase your data;
• provide your data in a portable format for you or another provider;
• restrict or stop certain processing, or object to it.

10. US state privacy rights

Residents of California and other US states with consumer privacy laws can ask what personal information we collect and how it's used, request deletion or correction, and opt out of any sale or sharing. We don't sell or share personal information as those laws define it, and exercising your rights won't affect how we treat you.

11. Children

The Service is meant for adults, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think a child has given us personal data, contact us and we'll delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top marks the current version, and we'll email you about significant changes.
