Setup steps for IPTV Extreme
Step 1: Install the app
Install IPTV Extreme (free, with ads) or IPTV Extreme Pro (paid, no ads) from Google Play.
Step 2: Add a playlist
Open the menu → Playlists → Add playlist. Choose Xtream Codes for the full library, or Remote playlist for the M3U link.
- Playlist or profile name: any label you'll recognise, such as IPTV Trends
- Username and Password: copy them character for character, since capitals matter
- Server URL: paste the whole address, starting with http:// and ending with the port number
Your welcome email (sent the minute your trial or plan starts) holds four things: Server URL, Username, Password and an M3U link. Not in your inbox? Look in spam or promotions, or ask support to send it again.
Step 3: Attach the guide
Open Settings → EPG, add your XMLTV link if the app asks for one, and press Update EPG.
With an Xtream Codes login the guide arrives on its own. Apps that want a separate XMLTV address can use http://SERVER:PORT/xmltv.php?username=USERNAME&password=PASSWORD, filled in with your own details, or ask support for the ready-made link.
Step 4: Set a parental PIN (optional)
In Settings → Parental control, choose a PIN and lock the categories children shouldn't browse.
Fixes for common IPTV Extreme problems
Recording needs the Pro version and storage permission. In Android Settings → Apps → IPTV Extreme Pro → Permissions, allow storage, and pick a folder with free space in the app's recording settings.
It's usually a typing slip: a missing http://, a dropped port number, or a capital letter entered in lowercase. Copy each field straight from your welcome email. If your trial or plan has ended, the same error appears until you renew.
