GSE Smart IPTV: Add a Remote Playlist and EPG Source
GSE Smart IPTV keeps the playlist and the TV guide as two separate things: a Remote Playlist (your channels) and an EPG Source (the schedule). Add both and link them, and GSE gives you a full guide on Apple and Android devices.

Setup steps for GSE Smart IPTV
Step 1: Install GSE Smart IPTV
Get it from the App Store on iPhone, iPad or Apple TV, or from Google Play on Android.
Step 2: Create a Remote Playlist
Open the side menu → Remote Playlists → the + button → Add M3U URL.
- Name: IPTV Trends
- Link: paste your M3U link from the welcome email
- Tap Add, then tap the new playlist so GSE parses the channels
Your welcome email (sent the minute your trial or plan starts) holds four things: Server URL, Username, Password and an M3U link. Not in your inbox? Look in spam or promotions, or ask support to send it again.
Step 3: Add the EPG Source
Open the side menu → EPG Sources → + → Add EPG source, paste your XMLTV link and save.
With an Xtream Codes login the guide arrives on its own. Apps that want a separate XMLTV address can use http://SERVER:PORT/xmltv.php?username=USERNAME&password=PASSWORD, filled in with your own details, or ask support for the ready-made link.
Step 4: Refresh and check the times
Reopen the playlist and pull down to refresh. Programme titles appear under each channel; if they're an hour or more out, use the time offset in GSE's settings.
Fixes for common GSE Smart IPTV problems
The guide uses UTC and GSE converts it. Open Settings → EPG settings → Time offset and adjust in one-hour steps until the guide matches the live picture; daylight saving changes can require a tweak.
Usually a stray space or a cut-off link. Delete the playlist, copy the M3U link again in full and re-add it. Alternatively, use the Xtream Codes API section of the menu with your username and password.
